Investigators ask to arrest a teen after road accident in Krasnodar

The Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) is considering the arrest of a teenager, suspected of involvement in the road accident, in which a road worker was killed and four people were injured. Users of social networks doubt that the son of the ex-head of the city UVD (Interior Department) and the Deputy of the City Duma will be severely punished, should the court prove his guilt.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 29, in Krasnodar, according to the prosecutor's office, a 17-year-old teenager, who drove Range Rover without a driver's license, ran into a Gazel van and workers who were repairing the road. The prosecutor's office has noted that there was alcohol in the teen's blood.

His father is the ex-head of the Krasnodar City UVD, and his mother is a Deputy of the City Duma, the "Yuga.ru" reports referring to its law enforcement source.

Some users of the "VKontakte" social network believe that the son of high-ranking parents will be acquitted or sentenced to a relatively soft punishment.

Other users, in their turn, urge not to make hasty forecasts and "not to judge strictly" the teen's parents.
