Investigators to check complaint about the doctors' negligence in Buynaksk

The information about the negligence of ambulance doctors in Buynaksk will be checked in connection with the appearance of a video record, according to which medical assistants refused to help the person who needed help, Rasul Temirbekov, the spokesman from the Investigating Department (ID) for Dagestan of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has stated.

According to his story, the above video, showing that an ambulance team failed to help a person lying on the sidewalk in Buynaksk, was posted on May 22.

"The video shows a dialogue of an eyewitness with paramedics, who passed by a man in need of help," Mr Temirbekov said.

According to the eyewitness, a pedestrian was walking on the sidewalk and suddenly fell down right before the eyes of ambulance doctors. "The car drove past the fallen man. I had to catch up with them in my own car and force them to return," said a resident of Buynaksk.

Judging by the video, the ambulance doctors refused to introduce themselves, and when asked why they drove past the man in need of help, they said "they did as they wanted to." In his turn, the ambulance driver stressed that they "were driving to a call."

The above spokesman of the ID for Dagestan of the ICRF has noted that "the fact is duly checked by investigators, who clarify all the circumstances of the incident," the RIA "Dagestan" has reported today.
