ICRF launches investigation into case of abduction of Ingush woman

At least five persons are involved in the abduction of a 19-year-old female resident of the village of Kantyshevo of the Nazran District of Ingushetia. One of the kidnappers has been identified. This was reported by investigators.

According to the Investigating Department for Ingushetia of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), on April 8, at least five persons entered the house with yard in Balkarskaya Street of the village of Kantyshevo and used violence to abduct the woman. Until present, her whereabouts has not been identified.

On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was instituted under Part 2 of Article 139 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the inviolability of the home, committed with the use of violence) and Paragraph "a" of the Part 2 of Article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (kidnapping of a person by a group of persons under a preliminary conspiracy). One suspect was put on the wanted list, reported on April 12 the website of the ICRF's Investigating Department for Ingushetia.
