Truck drivers on protest in Tukhchar move to Krasnoarmeysk

After the dispersal of the protest action in the village of Tukhchar, Dagestani truck drivers in 20 vehicles have moved to the town of Krasnoarmeysk.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 5, the police demanded from participants of the rally against the "Platon" system to free the land plot near the village of Tukhchar. The protesters refused to leave the place, and force was used against them. 11 truck drivers were detained.

About 80 drivers took part in the protest action in Tukhchar. According to protesters, 20 vehicles moved to Krasnoarmeysk (a town in the suburbs of Makhachkala).

"Almost all the participants involved in the protest from the very beginning are ready to support us again," said truck driver Magomed.

"At present, we are trying to find a piece of land to re-deploy our protest camp," reported Gusein, a participant of the protest action.

Let us remind you that starting from March 27, there is a protest action of truck drivers throughout Russia, and the strike in Dagestan is one of the most massive. The protesters' camp is located near the village of Manas. Besides, the truck drivers were on strike near the village of Tukhchar in the Novolak District.
