In Volgograd, conference in protection of entrepreneurs' rights disrupted

In Volgograd, owners of trading stalls and pavilions gathered for a conference on the protection of their rights. However, the building rented in advance was closed and controlled by the police. Entrepreneurs protest against the fact that when a new scheme of non-stationary trade objects was adopted, their trading stalls and pavilions were excluded from it.

Today, in Volgograd, the conference of entrepreneurs was to be held at the Palace of Culture of Trade Unions, where several dozen people gathered, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

The entrepreneurs collected signatures under the appeal "against the destruction of small businesses in Volgograd." In particular, the authors of the appeal do not agree with the fact that the objects which had been in the previous scheme were not included in the new scheme of non-stationary trade objects (NTOs) in Volgograd for 2017-2021. Besides, the entrepreneurs are also dissatisfied with the two- or three-time increase in the cost of the contract for placement of NTOs in comparison with the rent for land.

According to Vera Kucheryavaya, the head of the initiative group of entrepreneurs, the entrepreneurs intended to announce the creation of a public organization to protect the rights of entrepreneurs owning NTOs.

Vera Kucheryavaya has explained that entrepreneurs need such a public organization "to hold a dialogue with the authorities."
