Sergey Mitrokhin: law enforcers plant drugs on activist of Stavropol "Yabloko" Party
Today, a solo picket with the demand to release Kirill Bobro, the leader of the Stavropol branch of the "Youth Yabloko" Party, will be held in Moscow. This was announced by Sergey Mitrokhin, a member of the "Yabloko" Party's political council. Sergey Mitrokhin believes that the drugs were planted to Kirill Bobro.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 16, in the Kirill Bobro's apartment, agents of the Centre for Combating Extremism (CCE) carried out a search, and law enforcers took a sachet with green substance out of a jacket.
The law enforcers detained Kirill Bobro and instituted a criminal case against him on "storing drugs on a large scale." An advocate of Kirill Bobro has reported that his client went on hunger strike after the detention.
According to Sergey Mitrokhin, today, in Moscow, he will hold a solo picket with the demand to release Kirill Bobro. "Drugs, heroin and marijuana found in the Kirill Bobro's jacket during the search of the apartment were planted to the activist," stated Sergey Mitrokhin.
1:30 p.m. Moscow time of March 17, 2017, addition of the "Caucasian Knot": according to Artemy Zakharenkov, Chairman of the Stavropol regional branch of the "Yabloko" Party, Kirill Bobro "himself let law enforcers enter his apartment."
The Chairman of the Stavropol regional branch of the "Yabloko" Party has treated the law enforcers' actions as "primitive and ill-conceived."
