Kokoity supporters threatened to intensify protests for refusal to meet Tibilov (+video)

The night talks held in the building of the Security Council ended in an agreement about the meeting of the former head of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity with the incumbent President Leonid Tibilov, said Sergey Kharebov, the head of Kokoity’s electoral office. According to his story, if the meeting fails, "the protesters will decide themselves what to do."

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on March 14 the Supreme Court (SC) of South Ossetia upheld the decision of the CEC to reject the registration of Eduard Kokoity as a presidential candidate. The consideration of Kokoity’s complaint took place against the background of his supporters’ actions, held in Tskhinvali near the building of the SC with a demand of resignation of the head of South Ossetia.

Supporters of the ex-president of South Ossetia intend to gather again in front of the government building, a source from the Kokoity’s office told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

In their turn, some residents of Tskhinvali spoke out against rallies in support of Kokoity.
