Russian Investment Forum kicks off in Sochi

Today, on February 27, Russian Investment Forum will start its work in Sochi.

The key theme of the Forum is "New projects for growth". It is expected that the forum will be attended by about 4000 people, including directors of large companies. The participation in the event was announced by heads of companies from Austria, Afghanistan, UK, Germany, Kazakhstan, the USA, France, Switzerland, and Japan, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

The Forum is supposed to hold 27 events, including a plenary session with participation of PM Dmitry Medvedev, the "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" reports.

The structure of the Forum's business programme consists of three thematic blocks, including "New regional policy. Opportunities for development", "Increasing business efficiency. Opportunities for growth", and "Implementing the projects for life".

The administration of the Krasnodar Territory expects to conclude within the Investment Forum 18 contracts for the total amount of about 22 billion roubles, the "Kuban News" reports.
