MPH promises to check diplomas of chief physician of Vladikavkaz polyclinic
The chief physician of one of Vladikavkaz polyclinics was appointed to this position without completing a higher school and without the relevant work experience, said the chair of the city assembly. The Ministry of Public Health (MPH) has presented the doctor as a worthy specialist, but promised to check the authenticity of his diplomas.
On February 8, Makharbek Khadartsev, the Chair of the City Assembly of Vladikavkaz, wrote on the Facebook that he had received requests from townspeople to clarify the situation with the qualification of a new acting chief physician of one of the polyclinics, who is under 30.
Khadartsev also posted the response of the North-Caucasian State Humanities-Technological Academy about the doctor’s qualification. In 2010, he entered the Academy, took an academic leave on the following year, and in 2012 was expelled on the eve of the examination session on his own will.
On February 7, one day before the Khadartsev’s post, the MPH’s press service posted a new message about the chief physician, characterizing him as "young and ambitious, energetic and competent." The chief physician "was nicely accepted by the staff"; his colleagues noted his "competence."
The situation has caused a broad resonance in social networks. Currently, the Khadartsev’s post on the Facebook has 329 Likes and 270 reposts.
One user, Albert Chehty, suggested that the chief physician could be appointed because of family ties with some "high-ranking official."
However, several users have criticized Khadartsev, treating his post as a populist one.
