CTO legal regime cancelled in Tsumada District of Dagestan

The counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime, introduced in the Kvanada village council of Dagestan on January 31, has been lifted. This was reported by the operational headquarters of the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at 4:00 a.m. Moscow time of January 31, the CTO legal regime was introduced in the villages of Kvanada and Gimerso to search for militants and their accomplices. The special operation became the fifth operation since early 2017 carried out in the territory of Dagestan.

Today, at 12:30 a.m. Moscow time, the CTO legal regime has been lifted, and the operational activities have been completed, the "TASS" reports with reference to a staff member of the operational headquarters of the NAC for Dagestan.
