Video of special operation in Khasavyurt posted on Internet

A video of operative record of the shooting involving the people cordoned off in a private house in Khasavyurt has been posted on the Internet. The video released by the "Ren-TV" Channel shows how armoured vehicles are moving along a street in a private sector of Khasavyurt and how law enforcers are shelling a house surrounded by clouds of smoke.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at 8:20 a.m. Moscow time of January 29, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime was introduced in Khasavyurt. Law enforcers cordoned off a private house. The people inside the house refused to lay down their weapons, and then law enforcers began storming the house. Three people were killed.

During the operation, law enforcers used new-standard Russian armoured vehicles, known as "Punisher" and "Viking", the "Life" reports when commenting on the video.

It should be noted that this is not the first use of a "Punisher" vehicle in Dagestan. In April 2016, a "Punisher" vehicle was for the first time shot on video in the village of Leninkent of the Kirov District of Makhachkala, where a special operation was carried out by special forces of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
