In Nazran, three mosques set on fire, MIA reports

Today, in Ingushetia, law enforcers detained a man suspected of setting fire to three mosques in Nazran during one week. Two of them have been set on fire today.

This morning, the police have reported on the detention of the suspect.

"In Nazran, the law enforcement authorities have registered three fires in Jamaat mosques. Meanwhile, in two of those mosques, fires occurred during duty hours. Law enforcers detected evidence of possible criminal nature of fires and detained a 30-year-old resident of Nazran with severe symptoms of mental disorder. He is suspected of organizing arsons," reports the message posted on the website of the Ingush Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

Buildings in Tangiev and Aushev Streets were among mosques affected by the fire. Experts are engaged in estimation of damage inflicted by the fire. A couple of days earlier, in Nazran, a mosque in Khadziev Street also caught fire, the edition "Life" reports today.
