Witnesses in "Caliphate case" fail to confirm pressure on Miskhozhev

The session of the North-Caucasian Military Court, which considers the case of the attempt of creating a caliphate in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), the witness Alim Khatsukov and the criminal expert Zarina Djuzhueva were questioned; they stated that there was no pressure on the suspect during the investigatory actions.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 27 the mother of the defendant Oleg Miskhozhev said that her son was tortured after the detention.

Also, the special feldsher Baidaev was questioned, who took blood assays from defendants. He said that he had not seen Miskhozhev on crutches.
