Six people killed in shootout in Grozny

As a result of an armed clash in the capital of Chechnya, six people were killed. According to preliminary information, one of the casualties is the 18-year-old Ibragim Mazhaev.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today six residents of Grozny have barricaded themselves in a house in the city centre and opened fire on law enforcers; the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was announced.

"Very dense automatic gunfire was heard," said a local resident.

Another source has added that the CTO was over.
