Russian public figure Geydar Jemal dies

Tonight, Geydar Jemal, the Chairman of the Russia's Islamic Committee, has died from his disease.

Geydar Jemal was born on November 6, 1947, in Moscow. He is the founder of the metaphysical school of radical transcendentalism.

The fact that the 69-year-old Jemal has died was reported in his page on the Facebook.

The journalist Maxim Shevchenko has confirmed the death of the public figure.

Geydar Jemal was the author of notes for mass media and appeared as an expert, in particular, for the "Caucasian Knot". One of his last comments to the "Caucasian Knot" was on the activities of the organizations "Imarat Kavkaz" and "Islamic State" (IS), recognized as terrorist ones and banned in Russia.

In May 2015, Geydar Jemal predicted the integration of the "Imarat Kavkaz" into the IS.

In August 2015, Geydar Jemal noted that power agents "pursue the aim not to liquidate the bandit underground," but "just to change its format."

"Power agents are interested in the advent of the IS to Northern Caucasus, since it is the largest terrorist organization in the world, which is fought with by the United States. After that, Russian law enforcers will be able to claim cooperation with secret services of NATO and USA," said Geydar Jemal.
