On eve of Eid al-Adha, 42 families receive help from NGOs in Kabardino-Balkaria

More than 113,000 roubles were raised by members of the organizations "Ochag" (Hearth) and "Circassian Renaissance" to be spent on the holiday of Eid al-Adha for help to the people in need and repatriates from Syria, residing in the territory of Kabardino-Balkaria. In total, according to the NGOs, members of 42 families have received aid.

The fundraising was announced on September 5, a week before the holiday of Eid al-Adha. During that period of time, the "Ochag" has raised about 39,000 roubles, and the "Circassian Renaissance" more than 74,000 roubles.

"Members of the NGO "Ochag" are engaged in providing assistance to repatriates, and they helped them, and members of the "Circassian Renaissance" help exclusively poor families and families with many children," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Arthur Kogotyzhev, one of the activists.

According to him, in fundraising, members of the NGO "Circassian Renaissance" were helped mainly by Circassian young people. "The funds have already been spent. The assistance was provided to members of 42 families of the Lesken District of Kabardino-Balkaria," said Arthur Kogotyzhev.
