Court sentences Rashid Evloev to six years of imprisonment
Today, in Rostov-on-Don, the North-Caucasian District Military Court has found Rashid Evloev, a native of North Ossetia, guilty of being trained in a camp of militants in Syria.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 17, during the debate, public prosecutor asked to sentence Rashid Evloev to 9 years of imprisonment.
According to investigators, in autumn of 2013, Rashid Evloev arrived from Krasnodar to Turkey, crossed the Syrian border and entered a training centre of the terrorist organization "Imarat Kavkaz", banned in Russia by court. After completing the training, in winter of 2013-2014, Rashid Evloev went to Turkey to return to Russia to commit terror acts, report the investigators.
Today, the "Caucasian Knot" has been informed by a press officer of the North-Caucasian District Military Court that Rashid Evloev was sentenced to six years of imprisonment in a common-security penal colony.
