Fellow villagers of Ramazan Djalaldinov condemn him for his complaint to Putin

Residents of the village of Kenkhi, Sharoy District, whose fellow villager Ramazan Djalaldinov had stated, in his video appeal to Vladimir Putin, about the corruption of local officials and extortions from teachers' salaries, held a gathering, at which treated Djalaldinov's words as a slander.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 14 a video appeal appeared on the YouTube, in which Ramazan Djalaldinov spoke about the situation in Kenkhi. According to his story, the village is in a half-ruined state after the war and floods, but local bureaucrats would not pay compensations to villagers unless they agree to get only one third of the due sum.

This afternoon, Djalaldinov's fellow villagers came to a gathering and publicly denounced him for his appeal to Russian President. The rally was filmed by Chechen TV reporters, says the page of the OWTA (Hope) project on the "VKontakte" social network.

The information about the gathering was also confirmed by Johar Musalov, a user of the social network. Giving his comment to the repost of the story of the "Caucasian Knot" about Djalaldinov, Musalov called the latter's video appeal "an attempt to get a bag of money."
