In Dagestan, four persons killed in explosion at traffic checkpoint (+video)

This morning, an explosion has occurred near the Djemikent checkpoint of the road police (known as GIBDD) in the Derbent District. The incident happened after one of the cars had approached the checkpoint for verification of documents. The law enforcement bodies admit that the explosion could be committed by a man whose remains were found at the place of the explosion.

A source from the law enforcement bodies reports that according to the information available at 10:58 a.m., five wounded and four dead persons were reported. The death toll includes a policeman detached from Mordovia and a local policeman. Besides, one civilian was killed as a result of the explosion in a car at the Djemikent GIBDD checkpoint, reports the source from the law enforcement bodies.

The fourth victim is a man who allegedly committed the bombing. His remains are found at the place of the explosion, and the man has not yet been identified, the "TASS" reports with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies.
