Experts: Kadyrov has no rivals for the post of head of Chechnya

The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov will be approved for his third term in office, the experts interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" believe. According to their version, it will happen regardless of whether he will be elected directly by citizens of Chechnya, or by local MPs.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Kadyrov became the head of Chechnya in 2007; and on May 5, 2011, he was confirmed in the office for the second term, which expires on March 5, 2016.

After Kadyrov's term expires, most likely, by a presidential decree he will be appointed as a temporary acting head of the Chechen Republic, until the election in September, Roman Udot, a co-chairman of the Board of the movement "Golos" (Vote), told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to the expert, the analysts of the "Golos" do not believe that Kadyrov will not head Chechnya for the third time, or will be removed before the end of office because of loss of confidence.

"Analysts of our office joke that Kadyrov's term will never end," said Roman Udot.

The way the head of the Chechen Republic will the elected is absolutely unimportant, since he has no rivals, Dmitry Oreshkin, an independent political analyst, is sure.

According to his version, Kadyrov will lead Chechnya as long as he makes some mistake that will lead to his quarrel with Putin, or until the latter himself leaves the Kremlin. Mr Oreshkin finds both scenarios unlikely in the near future.
