Khadjimurat Gatsalov has received a letter reporting on a preparation of his assassination. Today, he has informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that he has got demands to give up his post of the Mufti of North Ossetia and threats to chase him in case if he attempts to escape.

On January 11, Khadjimurat Gatsalov is going to file a complaint to the Prosecutor's Office concerning the information about his impending assassination. Today, this has been told to the "Caucasian Knot" by the Mufti of North Ossetia himself. According to him, he was informed on the preparation of his assassination by a resident of Mozdok, who was summoned to the Centre to Combat Extremism.

Khadjimurat Gatsalov has also noted that after the visit to law enforcers, the man wrote a letter, in which he requested to voice the information about the preparation of a contract assassination of the Mufti of North Ossetia and the warning that he should as soon as possible give up his post. Meanwhile, the letter also stated that Khadjimurat Gatsalov should not leave the place, since he would be chased.

According to Khadjimurat Gatsalov, he has identified the author of the letter. The man has confessed to the Mufti that he had learned about the planned assassination from the law enforcers. However, according to the Mufti, the law enforcers have not confirmed to him the information about the impeding assassination.
