Court in Rostov-on-Don refuses to resume inquiry into Amirov's case

The North-Caucasian District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don has rejected the petition of one of the defendants to re-interrogate witnesses.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Said Amirov, his nephew Yusup Djaparov, Murad Aliev, Akhmedov brothers, Magomed Kadiev and Zubair Mutaev were accused of organizing murders, participation in an illegal armed formation (IAF), banditry, terrorism and illegal arms circulation. None of the defendants has pled guilty. On August 10, the above court started oral hearing on the case of Amirov et al.

At today's session, the defendant Magomed Akhmedov has petitioned to re-question the prosecution witness Salimov and the head of the Kizilyurt ROVD (District Interior Division), whose case is also considered by the military court. His petition was rejected.
