In Dagestan, advocate Sapiyat Magomedova claims being ill-treated by policeman
Advocate Sapiyat Magomedova claims that the Deputy Chief of the Investigating Division (ID) of the Khasavyurt OVD (Interior Division) rudely treated her and used force against her. The advocate requests the administration of the Dagestani law enforcement bodies to assist in the investigation into the incident.
On September 5, Sapiyat Magomedova came into the building of the Khasavyurt OVD to copy a criminal case, which involved her as an advocate of the victim party. Sapiyat Magomedova entered the office of the investigator for the case and began to discuss the details, when Temirbi Saigidaev, the Deputy Chief of the ID of the Khasavyurt OVD called her.
According to the advocate, she told Temirbi Saigidaev that she had nothing to talk about to him and that she came to the investigator. Then, Temirbi Saigidaev entered the investigator's office, and a verbal altercation occurred between him and the advocate.
"Saigidaev suddenly rushed at me, grabbed me by the arm and began to pull me to the exit door," Sapiyat Magomedova states.
When the woman protested and demanded to stop his action, Temirbi Saigidaev began to pull her bag out of her hands and insult her.
"I realized that he was deliberately provoking me to the scandal and switched on the recorder on my mobile phone. Saigidaev saw that, attacked me and began attempting to take my mobile phone by force," the advocate states.
After that, according to Sapiyat Magomedova, Temirbi Saigidaev demanded to call law enforcers to the office to kick her out.
