Rural teacher shot dead in Dagestan

Last night, in the Kizilyurt District of Dagestan, a teacher of a rural school has been killed.

According to the press service of the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the attack took place in the village of Komsomolskoe. A man in mask entered the house, shot and killed the teacher, who used to work in the village of Sauri of the Tsuntin District.

The investigation into the circumstances of the incident is underway.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported about the murders of three teachers committed in the republic in 2013. On September 1, Ali Abdurazakov, a 67-year-old primary school teacher, was found murdered on the outskirts of the village of Khvaini of the Tsumadin District. On July 15, in the village of Khushtada of the Tsumadin District, Abusupyan Omarov, a 62-year-old primary school teacher, was shot dead in his own house. On March 10, Fazina Ibragimova, a 62-year-old teacher of Russian language, was killed in the village of Kurakh of the Kurakh District. The woman was found at home with stab wounds.
