In Sochi, police investigate discharge of construction waste in Tsanyk Creek

Persons, who have organized discharge of construction waste in the Tsanyk Creek in Sochi, will be brought to administrative and criminal responsibility. This was reported by the police. The protocol against persons guilty of breaking rules of improvement and sanitary maintenance was transferred to the administrative commission. This was reported by the Khosta administration. According to ecologists, similar incidents have become a system for Sochi.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 18, in Sochi, activists of the "Ecological Watch for Northern Caucasus" (EcoWatch) prevented the discharge of construction waste in the Tsanyk Creek. According to Vladimir Kimaev, the leader of the Sochi Branch of the "Yabloko" Party, a member of the Board of the "Ecological Watch for Northern Caucasus", he has personally informed Victor Filonov, Acting Mayor of Sochi, about the situation.

"A driver of a Sochi company was detained at the place of the administrative offense," said Sergey Dobromyslov, the head of the administration of the Razdolsky Rural District. He has clarified that "the site is located in the territory of the national park, and ownership does not give grounds to conduct unsanctioned works here."

According to Sergey Dobromyslov, the head of the company refused to put his signature under the protocol on violation of the rules.

It should be added that on April 17, it became known that the Department of the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) for the Republic of Adygea decided to suspend the activities of the "EcoWatch". On April 18, the organization announced that the MoJ for Adygea made the decision without warning.
