Survey: should Russian authorities apologize for 1944 deportation of Chechens and Ingushetians?

Russian authorities should apologize to the Chechen and Ingush peoples for the deportation of 1944.

An express survey conducted within the framework of the Rikoshet program via interactive phones has revealed that 52% of the respondents hold such an opinion, and 48% think that Russian authorities need not apologize to the Chechen and Ingush peoples for the deportation of 1944.

Altogether 3,851 phone calls were received by Echo Moskvy Radio for 5 minutes of the survey.
