A ramson gatherer wounded by militaries dies in Chechnya

One of the residents of the Achkhoi-Martan District of Chechnya, who was injured on March 10 while gathering ramson in the woods by militaries' shelling, died in hospital.

"His name is Gaisultanov; he was a resident of Achkhoi-Martan, under 20 years old. The second victim - an elderly man – received multiple injuries and is in hospital," a source from the administration of the Achkhoi-Martan District told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

He noted that the republic's authorities provided the families of the deceased young guy and the wounded man with some financial help; however, he did not specify what the volume of that help was, and when the casualty died.

As stated earlier by a source from the Military Commandant of Chechnya, the ramson pickers went into the woods, despite the notification made by the militaries that a special operation would be conducted in that area. However, some local residents claimed they knew nothing about it.
