Miner perished in Rostov Region

Today, a mine worker perished as a result of a rock collapse in the underground mine "Rostovskaya", located in the town of Gukovo of Rostov Region. This was reported by the representative of the press service of the Southern Regional Centre of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies (MfE).

According to his story, the rock collapse occurred at 10:40 a.m. at works.

The miner, who was engaged in drilling a mine roadway, was buried under mine rocks. The man, born in 1968, died in place from the injuries, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
