Resident of Stavropol who reported about mined car to be rewarded

Vyacheslav Alyoshin, deputy director of the Stavropol cafe "Gloria", who on September 30 reported to the militia about the car-bomb parked outside his institution, plans to pass the money premium promised by city officials to a children's home.

According to his story, he found it difficult to explain what exactly in that car aroused his suspicion; but he added that he is a reserve officer and "possesses some knowledge," the RIA "Novosti" reports.

The FSB believes that the organizers of the failed terror act in Stavropol were also involved in the explosion on August 17 in Pyatigorsk, where 30 persons where injured, the "Kommersant" writes.

According to an FSB source, in both cases perpetrators acted in similar manner. Thus, in Pyatigorsk and Stavropol they used VAZ cars, belonging to taxi drivers, as bomb containers. The criminals killed the drivers trying to present them as suicide bombers in order to mislead the investigation.

According to experts, should these device were triggered, three thousand persons could get into the striking area.
