Evkurov reports prevention of suicide bomber's terror act in Ingushetia

The law enforcement bodies of Ingushetia have prevented a large terror act planned by militants with use of a terrorist-suicide bomber. This was stated today by Ingush President Yunus-Bek Evkurov in his speech addressed to parliamentarians and the government.

According to his version, the terror act was planned in some crowded place. He has noted that the crime was prevented, in particular, thanks to vigilance of local residents.

The ITAR-TASS reports that Mr Evkurov has also reported that on the holiday, when Moslems will mark the end of Ramadan, strengthened security measures will be taken in Ingushetia.

He did not tell when the terror act had been prevented.
