Action in memory of Zarema Sadulayeva held in Grozny

Today, in the capital of Chechnya, in the Journalists' Mini-Park, in front of the building of the House of the Press, an action was held in memory of Zarema Sadulayeva, head of the youth charitable organization "Let's save the generation", who was assassinated a year ago.

The rally was attended by members of local NGOs, human rights activist, journalists and other people who knew Sadulayeva and her husband.

Zarema Sadulayeva, 32, and her husband Alik Dzhabrailov were kidnapped on August 10, 2009, from the office of their organization in Grozny by unidentified power agents. In the morning of the following day their bodies with plural gunshot wounds were found in Chernorechye settlement of the Zavodskoi District of Grozny in the luggage compartment of their Zhiguli car parked in front of the building of the republic's rehabilitation centre.
