Leaders of national communities of Kuban learnt not to be afraid of police officers

"We are not alone, we are not strangers! to live and not to fear!" - these were slogans of the workshop "Protection of Rights of Ethnic Minorities during Examinations of Papers by Police", which was held in Gelendzhik on October 17-20. The Novorossiysk Committee on Human Rights, which was an organizer of the workshop along with the Novorossiysk Fund "School of Peace", reported that financial support to the action was provided by the World Bank. The aim of the workshop was to practice young leaders of the most vulnerable ethnic minorities in the Krasnodar region in technologies of asserting their rights.

Leaders of the Turkish-Meskhetian, Tajik and African communities participated in the workshop. Invited lawyers helped them to enrich their store of knowledge in the field of human rights.
