Urgent problems of legal proceedings are discussed in Stavropol region

The seminar "Urgent Problems of Legal Proceedings on Civil and Criminal Cases" took place in Pyatigorsk on October 16-17. It was organized by the charitable organization "Faith, Hope, and Love", which gives help to internally displaced persons and refugees of the Stavropol region. The U.S. Agency for International Development provided financial support to the action.

The seminar was aimed at bridging between lawyers of human rights and non-government organizations and practicing lawyers, at raising their educational level. Judges of Stavropol Territory's Court, the president of the Board of Lawyers of Stavropol Territory, lawyers of Stavropol Territory's Bar, representatives of international organizations, and lawyers of public human rights organizations were participants in the seminar. They discussed problems of professional ethics and oratorical art, topical issues of application of the Civil Remedial Code of the Russian Federation and Labor Code, issues of the law of evidence.
