Humanitarian aid is being conveyed to children of Chechnya from Yekaterinburg. Anastasiya Maltseva, a co-organizer of the act of charity "Journey of Peace", told it at a press conference on Friday. According to her words, the action is arranged by the Yekaterinburg public organization "Memorial" and the Public Foundation for Social Assistance to Migrants. The action started in Yekaterinburg on October 6. Different things and gifts, letters and children's drawings for Chechen children were gathered there with the assistance of the local patriarchate and businessmen. A special carriage with all these gifts is moving through Russian towns where all those who wish can join the action by bringing their gifts. The train is to arrive in Grozny on October 14.

Anastasiya Maltseva noted such an action had already been conducted a year ago.
