Meeting of partners of regional project

A meeting of partners of the international organization "Article 19" took place in Zvenigorod, a town near Moscow, on October 2-5 within the limits of the project "Consolidation of Democracy in the Southern Caucasus through Freedom of Speech". Representatives of journalistic and other public organizations of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Nagorny Karabakh, Abkhazia, and South Osetia came to the presentation of the project.

During the first day meeting participants told about the actions that had already been taken within the limits of the project and talked over the subject directions of the project. In particular, they discussed such subjects as a legislation reform, enlightening and training actions, activity aimed to consolidate freedom of information.

The next two days were given up to the seminar "Monitoring of the Media During Elections".
