Public commemorated fifth anniversary of Mufti Saiid Muhammad Hajji Abubarakov's death

The ecclesiastical and secular public commemorated the fifth anniversary of the death of Dagestani Mufti Seiid Muhammad Hajji Abubarakov who was killed in a terrorist act.

A scientific and practical conference "Islam in the Present Day World: Life and Activity of Saiid Muhammad Hajji Abubarakov" took place in Makhachkala on August 22. Spiritual Administration of Dagestani Moslems Chairman, Mufti of Dagestan Akhmed Hadji Abdulaev, Professor Gajiali Daniyalov, Russian State Duma Deputy Khajimurad Omarov, Deputy Mufti of Chechnya Said Matakhov and others presented their reports at the conference. The chairman of the Government Committee of the Republic of Dagestan on Religious Affairs Akhmed Magomedov participated in the conference.

The thought that the idea of Islam is important for the development of spirituality, morality and good relationship between people united the work of the conference and the reports. That is what Saiid Muhammad Hajji advocated.
