Human Rights Institute intends to offer Angelina Jolie to become Institute's International Council member

"The Human Rights Institute appeals to human rights activists to support the UNICEF initiative in working out the international legislation for struggle against child slavery. Not only scientists, lawyers, and human rights activists should settle down to the work at the legislation but, for example, popular artists such as UN Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie, who has recently finished her visit to Russia. The Human Rights Institute asks Angelina Jolie to be a member of the Institute's International Council", reported Human Rights Institute Director General, member of the Commission on Human Rights under the Russian President Kamilzhan Kalandarov.

Children in Russia are deprived of civil rights. There is no national structure that is engaged in social and psychological state of the family and children correspondingly. Therefore the Institute of Human Rights believes it is its duty to initiate the establishment of the post of the Federal Commissioner for Women's and Children's Rights in the Russian Federation.
