Young man disappears in Makhachkala, family suspects kidnapping

Zhanna Shamsudinova, a resident of Makhachkala, has stated disappearance of her husband Magomed Sheikhov under strange circumstances. Magomed's relatives suspect that he was kidnapped by power agents.

The woman said that in the evening on September 9 her husband went to visit his friends, and after a while he made a call saying that he would be home in a couple of minutes. However, in an hour Zhanna received an sms message: "My beloved! I kiss you and mum, calm her. It's all OK with me." The woman asserts that her husband had never addressed her in this manner.

She decided to wait till the morning and made no actions. In the morning the relatives telephoned to all Sheikhov's friends; and also called the ROVD of the capital of Dagestan, but there they were told that they have no data about the missing person.

On September 10, a friend came to Sheikhov's relatives and said Magomed was probably kidnapped by power agents; and the sms was sent to prevent protest actions against his kidnapping. The relatives of the gone young man are going to apply to the prosecutor's office and militia; they do not exclude going out to a rally.
