Channel One journalist dies in South Ossetia from gas poisoning

Evgeniy Lukinov, correspondent of Channel One, who suddenly died today morning in the capital of South Ossetia, got poisoned by carbonic oxide. The autopsy revealed the reason.

"The body of the lost journalist was brought to us; now the autopsy is over. It has shown that Mr Lukinov got poisoned by carbonic oxide," the "Gazeta.Ru" quotes an employee of the Centre for Forensic-Medical Examination.

Evgeniy Lukinov was found dead in a bathroom of a private household, where he had hired his flat. The source has assumed that the geyser was out of order and had gas leakage, as the "Trend" Agency reports.

The journalist arrived to South Ossetia as the Channel One correspondent to cover the course of parliamentary elections.
